Renewal Center Brings Hope and Friendship

The Dan Anderson Renewal Center at Hazelden Betty Ford offers people in long term sobriety the chance to recharge their recovery, overcome obstances, and celebrate success.

Mary B., of Louisville, KY, shares what the Renewal Center has meant to her:

“What a blessing. For the past 25 years or so I’ve had the opportunity to attend retreats at Hazelden’s Renewal Center.  Particularly special is that I meet two or three friends here who return every year at the same time.

This makes the retreat time even more meaningful as we can share the year’s ups and downs and know a lot of the history that has gone before these experiences.

Each year at Hazelden, I get to renew my commitment within the framework of a program that just seems to be the right fit at the right time.  And, this happens in a beautiful space where everything is focused on recovery and we are nourished in ways that strengthen us for our next steps.  I count this annual visit one of the greatest blessings of my life.”
