New recovery center to serve licensed professionals

A new intensive outpatient rehabilitation program has opened in San Diego. RecoveryWorks is open to all people struggling with addiction, but will offer specialized care to individuals in positions of power and trust. 

“The program was launched in part as a response to the growing need for high-quality clinical and forensic evaluation of medical, legal and law enforcement professionals,” said Dr. Clark Smith, the founder of RecoveryWorks. “In addition to helping individuals from the general public with alcoholism and addiction dependency issues, RecoveryWorks aims to assist people in positions of trust cope with their own substance abuse problems.”
