To celebrate the 25th anniversary of National Recovery Month, the Office of National Drug Control Policy will be hosting a celebratory event, which will stream live from the White House from 2 to 4 p.m. E.S.T. today.
The event,“Recovery Month at the White House: Celebrating 25 Years,” will feature a panel of recovery experts and advocates. Viewers are invited to tweet questions for the panelists at @Botticelli44 using the hashtag #RecoveryatWH any time before or during the event.
Participants include Cris Carter, a former NFL football player; Christina Huffington, a young person in recovery; Ruber Castaneda, former Washington Post reporter and author of S Street Rising; and Tim Willson, the mayor of Brooklyn Center, Minn.
