‘Warehouse 13’ actor divulges alcoholic past

For the first time revealing he is in recovery of alcohol publicly, “Warehouse 13” actor Eddie McClintock explained during a Comicom fan panel in Seattle last weekend that he has 12 years of sobriety behind him.

As McClintock revealed that he is in recovery, he also revealed how his real life mirrors just a little bit of his Syfy “Warehouse 13” character — both are recovering alcoholics.

According to The News Tribune, McClintock told the crowd that when he gave up drinking, he initially thought the party was over, but it was just the opposite.

“… It’s just as fun,” he said. “I can wake up without a headache and work and not apologize.”

After he divulged his personal information, The News Tribune says fans had a lot of questions and McClintock left the stage often to hug them.
