Recovery heads to the Cape for CCSAD
Addiction professionals from around the world will be descending on Cape Cod next month for the 27th annual Cape Cod Symposium on Addictive Disorders (CCSAD), taking place Sept. 11 to 14 in Hyannis, Mass. CCSAD features workshops and seminars, alongside showcases of products, services and facilities aimed to assist people in recovery.
This year, a second, updated edition of The Recovery Book by Al J. Mooney, M.D., will be launched at the symposium. The new edition covers updated science surrounding recovery, in addition to the information on different treatment options that made the first edition of the book so important to recovery professionals.
“A recovery classic…The Recovery Book showed me there was a way out of addiction. Dr. Al’s book is an invaluable resource for myself and my patients at the Betty Ford Center,” said Dr. Harry Haroutunian, the Physician Director of the Betty Ford Center.
CCSAD attendees will receive a free copy of The Recovery Book while supplies last. For more information or to register, visit the symposium’s website
