The Partnership at Drugfree.org is starting a new multi-year project in an effort to raise awareness and curb abuse of prescription drugs in teenagers and young adults. But it needs your help to kick-off The Medicine Abuse Project.
Launching the week of September 23-29, 2012, the campaign will help parents and the public-at-large manage the prescription drug abuse epidemic, working toward a common goal of preventing 500,000 teens from abusing medicine within the next five years.
Here’s where the help is needed. The Partnership is asking for family stories on the effects of prescription and over-the-counter drug abuse. What have been your struggles? How were you or your family affected?
Stories can be emailed by clicking here.
By telling your story, it may be shared by the Partnership as part of the campaign. And hopefully, the Partnership at Drugfree.org says, help take a step toward stopping the epidemic.
