In The Rooms announced this week its first new piece of apparel in more than two years—and it’s got a groovy feel with a limited edition artist’s touch.
The limited edition In The Rooms Groovy Tee T-shirt is available online and features a tree design with 12 spiritual principals making up the body and branches, such as honesty, trust and hope. The shirt will be on sale in all sizes until March 30, 2012, with shipping in April.
In The Rooms is a social network for the global recovery community. It’s open to those in recovery, friends and family of someone in recovery and those with loved ones who are in need of help with alcoholism, drug addiction, prescription drug addiction, gambling addiction, eating disorders and more.
In The Rooms also has two apps available from the App Store in iTunes in order to keep in touch with the community and keep you on track with the recovery process.
The In The Rooms app, which was updated March 5, 2012, is free and compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It allows users mobile access to their In The Rooms account so they have on-the-go contact to the community. Users can use their iPhone's GPS to find the closest recovery meetings to wherever they are in the world and “check in.” They can also share photos from their mobile devices with their friends and participate in discussions based on their fellowship, ranging from the steps and traditions, to gratitude and controversy.
Afternoon Affirmations from In The Rooms is also an app available from the App Store in iTunes for free. It is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
The app sends users a message each day with an affirmation to help calm the soul. There is a new affirmation in the app each day that is sent at 1 p.m., but you can turn the reminder off in the settings if wanted.
In The Rooms Groovy Tees are $20 each and can be purchased by clicking here.
